Question:
I have a old ranger trailer but cant find the vin number

Expert Reply:
The VIN on your Ranger might be in a number of possible locations. Typically the number will be found toward the front of the trailer frame, on an inside-facing surface. If you cannot locate the information there, I recommend simply looking up and down the frame along the length of the trailer.
If you find that a VIN is simply not present, and you do not have any paperwork with this information, you may be able to have your local state police or highway patrol assign a new one for the trailer.
