I have purchased a trailer mount from you guys in the past. It worked out great. Thanks! My current vehicle is a 2018 Hyaundai Tuscon with factory roof rail, with cross bars. Factory cross bars are ellipsoid in cross section. I have an old Thule CascadeXT cargo box with quick snap U bolts mounts. The box doesnt secure well to the factory cross bars, can you recommend a solution for this?

When the original mounting hardware for a rooftop cargo box like the Thule Cascade XT will not fit on a vehicle's OEM roof rack crossbars you can substitute alternate hardware. The original u-bolts used for this cargo box are no longer available from Thule.
You can use kit # TH05603 from Thule/SportRack that includes hardware that will fit on crossbars up to 1-9/16 tall x 3-3/4-inches wide.
If you end up needing to drill new holes in the box any extra holes can be sealed up using silicone sealant # LT37467.
I recommend using a simple folding step like # TE97FR to help you with your cargo loading/unloading processes. This step comes fully assembled, weighs next to nothing and unfolds instantly any time you need a foot of extra reach.
