Best Value Platform Bike Rack Recommendation that is Rock Solid In Hitch
Published 05/03/2018 >
Question:
I am wondering what the best rack for under 350 is for me. I want a platform style, 2inch receiver, only need 2 bike option, have one fat tire ebike that is 49 pounds without battery, and one full suspension Jamis regular bike, less then 30 pounds. I am comparing the Hollywood trs and the Sitkka 2, and the Kuat transfer. Which one is most stable and good for 2 to 3 hour drives to get to where I can ride, and which bounce around the least, or is there another you would recommend around my price range, little flexible but definitely sub 400.

When it comes to stability on the road at a great value there is nobody out there that beats the Hollywood Racks bike racks. The Hollywood Rack TRS # HR3000 would be the winner by far. If you check out the review I attached below you'll see just how stable the hitch is. In the last portion of the video you can see the rack go over speed bumps as well. It's rock solid and an incredible value. I would recommend it easily for you.
I attached a video for the Sittka 2 part # S64687 and it has a bit more movement.
