I need two Moryde wet bolts for their heavy duty shackles. Do they come with locking nuts?

Hey Jeff, thanks for reaching out. The Replacement Wet Shoulder Bolt # MR52HR comes with just the bolt. The nuts are sold separately but we do have those available. For that bolt you'll need the following:

What kind of trailer is this for? What happened to the original bolts that they needed to be replaced?

They didn't come with the nuts. Which is pretty stupid to me. Make sure you reach out for proper torque specs . If I remember correctly it's fairly low . If your replacing old wet bolts or regular bolts. My advice get new bushings as well. I replaced just a couple wet bolts and the bushings were absolutely junk. They wore out to the point on side on most was completely gone.

@Chuckc Hey Chuck, yea I agree it would make sense to sell the wet bolt and nut together but that's just how MORryde does it for some reason. Still, thanks for sharing your thoughts. I appreciate it!

Jeff - as Jesse from eTrailer mentioned, the bolts and nuts are sold separate. I had the same question when we ordered replacements for the MORyde CRE 3000 suspension upgrade for our sheep camp. It is a good idea to get the nut, bolt, and bushing and replace them all at the same time.

I agree with all previous comments. I lost one of the wet bolts that connected one of the leaf springs to the frame behind the 2 axles but didn’t discover until we got home safely. I purchased a few of the bolts, nuts and bushings from etrailer and with the help of a friend got it replaced. I had gotten concerned because i could not get grease to go into the bolts I decided to have all the wet bolts on the suspension system changed that was 7 on each side. I had someone locally change them out for me and was very happy we did. Like one of the previous persons commented the bushings were shot and broken and was probably the cause of not being able to get grease in the bolts. The bolts aren’t cheap but our safety is more important. Of note, I had the shop get all the wet bolts to purchase the bolts from etrailer. Another thing, had I taken the trailer to my RV dealer, my trailer probably would have been there for a month. My local shop that does much work with agricultural trailers of all sizes kept my trailer for 2 days only, got all the bolts installed and greased up. I feel much better now heading out. Also, You Tube has several videos about replacing and care of the wet bolts that I found helpful.

@JohnM Thanks for sharing your experience, John. Replacing the wet bolts and bushings before they completely failed was definitely the right call. It's great to hear you caught the issue, got everything greased up properly, and can head out with a little more peace of mind knowing the suspension is back in good shape.
