Hello, I purchased the following item from you: Curt Hitch Extension and Reducer for 2-1/2inch Trailer Hitches - 24inch to 34inch Long Item # C45048 I’ll be using this soon at 34” and would like to ask your advice for choosing safety chains from the vehicle receiver hitch to the hitch extension. Would you recommend these and which would be the most economical option for my application. Thank you

A good option for a safety chain for use with Curt hitch extender part # C45048 is the Laclede Chain Safety Chains and Cables, part # 2118-348-04. These offer a minimum breaking strength of 5000-lbs and are USA-made.
