Hi Im looking into buying a tow hitch with wiring for my Mazda cx9 2018. I have seen video installs for the wiring but none show a clean install where the wiring is attached to the actual hitch like an oem hitch install. Is that not possible without Oem parts? Thanks

We can help you with a trailer hitch and wiring harness for your 2018 Mazda CX-9.
We'll start with hitches. Although we offer both 1-1/4-inch Class II and 2-inch Class III hitches I urge you to select a 2-inch model from Draw-Tite, part # 76020. This particular 2-inch hitch offers a high tongue weight rating of 675-lbs, it installs without any drilling using the included hardware kit, and it includes a mounting bracket for trailer wiring. If you will tow often you can use the wiring bracket on the hitch, but in truth the connector will stay in better shape if you keep it stored inside the vehicle when you are not using it.

For a trailer wiring harness we have two types to offer. If you don't mind a little wiring duty you can use the 4-Pole kit # C59496. This includes a tester to help you identify the correct wires for installation. You do need to splice into the car's wiring to install this.
If that's a no-go then consider the ZCI Zero Contact 4-pole kit # 119250KIT. This universal kit works in any vehicle (so you can take it with you into your next car) and it requires no cutting into the car's internal wiring. It uses magnetic sensors instead of wire splices to connect to your car. If you change vehicles and want to move it to the new one it will leave no traces behind. This is extra great if you lease the vehicle. Install videos for both wiring kits are linked.
If your CX-9 has the factory tow package then instead use kit # 118278 for your 4-pole setup.
