Does Tech Bulletin # TB0021 Apply to 2018 VW Atlas When Installing Prodigy P3?

Question:
Does the Tekonsha Tech bulletin # TB0021 still apply when connecting a Tekonsha P3 to a 2018 VW ATLAS or have they finally rectified that issue. I dont see any new postings regarding it. I have a plug and play harness without a relay but dont want to run into issues if a relay is still required. Thanks

I spoke with a representative of Tekonsha regarding this and was told that when installing the Prodigy P3 # 90195 that tech bulletin # TB0021 does apply to a 2018 VW Atlas. That means you are going to need a 12V, normally open relay; I've also added a link to a help article about the necessary steps you'll need to take to complete the installation.
