What is the actual beam size this fits? In other words, is it meant for a standard 2inch wide tongue beam or is the Yakima beam an odd size?

The Trailer Coupler for Yakima Rack and Roll Trailers # Y08123 was designed specifically for Rack and Roll 78 inch # Y08107 or 66 inch # Y08106. If you were looking for a coupler for your trailer and have a 2" wide trailer tongue I recommend the Channel Tongue Trailer Coupler # CT-3001-Z, which works with a 2" ball, has a 3,500 lb capacity and bolts on.
