Question:
I have a Reese 1200 pound trunnion bars for weight distribution I am not seeing much lift on the truck when I pull up on the leavers, This is a used toy hauler I just bought by the way. After getting a tongue scale the weight is 1400 lbs. My question is if I order 1500 or 1700 bars will this help with the weight distribution?

As you mentioned, the trunnion spring bars do come in various weight ratings. Increasing your weight distribution capacity will improve your weight distribution. Either the 1500-lbs trunnion spring bars, Item # RP58369, or the 1700-lbs trunnion spring bars, Item # 66010, will work with several Reese weight distribution systems. I recommend going with the 1700-lbs trunnion spring bars, Item # 66010, so long as it will work with your weight distribution system.
Send me details about your weight distribution system, like model/part number, and I can make a specific recommendation.
I have attached a help article and a video for you to check out.
