Question:
purchased your prodigy p2 brake controller and adaptor for the plug under the dash for my 2016 F 150 / travel trailer. Installed both, connected the trailer.....lights and brakes work....controller shows NC error. What did I do wrong? followed your install video for the controller and the hitch connector, Do I need to install more relays and or wiring above and beyond what is shown on video?

The NC on your Prodigy P2 # 90885 means there is no trailer connection being recognized. Usually this is due to the controller not seeing enough power draw on the 5 o'clock pin of the 7-way (the brake controller output). This can be as basic as needing to clean your connections with a little sandpaper or steel wool, a bad ground connection due to rust or debris on your trailer, or as big as a short in that wire.
I recommend using a circuit tester like # PTW2993 to check that pin for signal. When you use the circuit tester and touch that pin, the controller should read a connection because the incandescent bulb will pull enough power to register. Then the bulb should increase in brightness as you slowly adjust the manual slide. If this does not happen, then you have a short and will need to trace the wire and find the short. You can probe the wire every few feet to determine if you have signal.
If you have signal at your 7-way then clean your connections on your vehicle side and trailer side connections and then reconnect using a little dielectric grease # 11755 to keep the connection clean and keep moisture and debris out. Then check your ground connection on your trailer's main ground and then check the ground at each of your brake magnets.
