Is There a Battery Inside the Tekonsha Prodigy RF Wireless Trailer Brake Controller

Question:
Does the Tekonsha 90250 Prodigy RF Electronic Brake Control unit on the trailer contain an internal battery that needs to be replaced periodically? Just checking as I am servicing the trailer and want to make sure all is good for an upcoming trip. Unit is currently working correctly. Thanks

The Tekonsha Prodigy RF Wireless Trailer Brake Controller part # TK94FR receivers power from the tow vehicle's battery so there is no internal battery nor does it pull power from the trailer battery. The only service that can be done to the unit is to apply some dielectric grease to the terminals, part # 11755.
