Question:

Interested in Equalizer Hitch for a 2018 Rockwood Mini Lite 2109S. the GVWR is 5726 lbs. Dry Weight 4275 lbs. Payload 1475 lbs. Hitch Weight 446 lbs. Tow Vehicle is a 2014 Ram 1500 Hemi Hitch Ball is 2 5/16 Thanks Round bars would be to low.

The best way to pick out a weight distribution system for your 2014 Ram 1500 is to base it off of the loaded tongue weight including the weight of any cargo behind the rear vehicle axle. Since your unloaded tongue weight is 446 lbs the Strait Line system part # RP66083 would be your best option. It has a tongue weight range of between 400 and 800 lbs and features only sway control to work to prevent sway before it starts. This is a trunnion system like you need which means good ground clearance too.

For a 2-5/16 inch ball # 19286 is what you need.
