Comparing Yakima and TracRac CapRac Roof Rack for Camper Shell

Question:

I just purchased an ARE MX series camper shell and made the mistake of not having them install the rails from the factory so that I could later in install a roof rack system. I’m interested in Thule, Rhino racks or Yakima. With either set up what main components would I need for the install?

Yakima makes it pretty easy to install one of their roof racks on a camper like what you have with the # Y57CV which comes with 60 inch crossbars and tracks that are 54 inches long.

If you'd rather have the bars install in a fixed point on the roof and not a track we also have the TracRac CapRac part # TH29200XT which would work great. This has an unlisted weight capacity, but TracRac states that as long as you stay under the capacity of the camper shell this will be fine. These bars are 65 inches in length and come with load stops.
