Adjusting Cable Handle of Valterra Waste Valve Bodies

Question:

How do you adjust the cables for the TC1372 ? The t handles have extended out and pushed the access door open. It looks like the inner cable length could be adjusted at the valve so the t handles dont stick out so far. Please help ! Thanks

There is a screw nut adjustment at the lever end that can be adjusted, This could have been turned inadvertently over a period of time lengthening the cable. Turning back out should lengthen the distance of the shield making it close tight.
