Specs:
The switch plate, wiring, seals, and hardware needed to install this electric waste valve on your RV's gray water tank are included. The switch plate installs in the RV's control panel. The waste valve secures to existing pipes using ABS solvent cement (A05-0303 - sold separately). A booklet with step-by-step instructions and a template for drilling are also included.
If you're dry camping or in the case of a power failure, the manual override is easy to use. Simply remove the pin from the valve's lift arm and turn the handle 90 degrees clockwise. Then pull the handle to open the valve.

Hi, everyone, Steven here with etrailer.com. Today we're looking together at our Valterra E-Valve electric waste valve for your RV's graywater tanks. And this uses a 1 1/2-inch hub to 1 1/2-inch spigot connection. Now, electronic waste valves will replace or just upgrade your current waste valve on your RV's graywater tank. It does use an easy operation with the simple flip of a switch. So you're gonna have this installed.
All you'll have to do is open or close the gate valve with a simple switch. You have all your gaskets, hardware needed, the wiring with a nice plug on the end to match up to the actual gate valve with the electric motor and everything. And no need to worry, because you do have a pin here you can pull in the event that you lose power or whatnot. You can still manually open and close that valve with ease. Now, you will need sold separately some ABS solvent bond to safely and correctly install this to your pipe.
So make sure you're picking that up here at etrailer.com if you don't already have some. So again, it's an inch and 1/2 hub to an inch and 1/2 spigot on both sides of the connection point. And again, you get everything you see here included for a tool-free, manual override use whenever you need to use it. Well, folks, it does have a built-in five-amp breaker as well, so you do have circuit protection in line. So you can simply reset with the push of a button, so you don't have to worry about fuses or anything else as well.
That's gonna wrap it up for our look together. I'm Steven, have a good one.
It was Great everything worked as it sh ould
Easy instal. Great costumer service!
A bit challenging to install because of trailers tank position, hopefully it doesn't fail anytime soon because the manual lever is mid trailer.
I’ve always been happy when ordering from etrailer the shipping was super fast and prices are always reasonable
I couldn't believe I got this so fast. Supposed to deliver Dec 4 and it got here Dec 1.
Everything looks good but haven't installed it yet. I will give it a 5 because of the expeditious delivery and customer service.
First super fast shipping!! The parts are very high quality and surprisingly actually easy install, the valve took about 15-20 I was more afraid of getting any of the gray water on me than changing the valve, but surprisingly it was super easy. The wiring being 12v with the plug and play with the auto valve was again very easy for any diy Rv owner. Highly recommend. One quick note I installed three separate auto valves one of them. The cable was about 3 feet short so if they’re not long enough, he will have to splice in three wires. Wire size in the picture bought at Lowe’s.
Good service
