Installing a Brake Controller in a 2016 Toyota Sienna XLE

Looking for an installation video to install a brake controller on a 2016 Toyota Sienna XLE. I cant seem to find one.

For your 2016 Toyota Sienna XLE, the installation of a brake controller will be very similar to the video of the 2005 Sienna I've attached, but unfortunately we don't have your exact model year on video yet. Because the brake controllers all need to be hardwired using the Universal Brake Controller Wiring Kit # ETBC7, many of the installations like the 2018 Honda Odyssey will be extremely similar. If you don't already have a 4-way wiring harness, then I recommend you start with the T-One # 118648 which has a video of the installation on a 2016 Toyota Sienna.

For your brake controller, I recommend the Prodigy P3 # 90195 which is a favorite due to the LCD screen, the presets, and the fact there is no code deciphering. It is a really nice option for your Sienna. I've attached a video to assist.

I have a 2016 Sienna as well. With the hidden hitch type of hitch. the Draw tite # 76112 Question. How or where do you mount the 7 pole in the back under the bumper? What have others done? Custom hole? Would appreciate pictures. Thanks

With hidden crosstube hitches like the Draw-Tite # 76112 your only real option for mounting a 7-Way connector is by attaching a bracket like # PK12711U directly to the bumper fascia on your Sienna. You would just bolt into the fascia wherever is most convenient near the hitch receiver.
