Question:
How do you remove the LED light from the top of the guide post to access wire connections? I see a notch, but have been unable to release it.

On the CE Smith Post-Style Guide-Ons # CE27740 the lights are held into the tops of the tubes with little screws. The screws would have to be removed to release the lights.
