We have a 2013 Thor RV Class A coach. The step motor does not work. How do you unhook electrical snap on connection on motor? It doesnt want to release.

If you are talking about the disconnecting the connector that installs on the Lippert Components Kwikee Step Motor # LC369506 (see attached picture), there should be a little tab that you have to push/pull before pulling the connector out of the motor.

You may need to use some lubricant to get it off. After removing it I recommend protecting the connection points with Dielectric Grease # 11755 to help prevent corrosion and damage in the future.

Since you said your RV step motor is part number 9551 you'd want the motor part #LC379147.

On the harness that plugs into the #LC379147 you would need to squeeze the tab that's on the wiring side of the connector so that you can pull it out of the motor's connector.
