What Are Clearance Measurements Needed For Tire Travel To Use Equa-Flex Cushioned Equalizer

Question:
I looked at the Mor/Ryde 3000 35. There are several qualifying measurements to make to be sure you can use on your trailer. There must be a 3 inch clearance from the top of the tire to the bottom of the trailer. Mine is about 2 3/4 inch. Does the Equa-Flex have qualifying measurements? Does the Equa-Flex allow more than 2 3/4 inch wheel travel?

I contacted the manufacturer and they do not think your 2-3/4 inch clearance will be an issue for you. The Equa-Flex Cushioned Equalizers, Item # LC279687, attach behind the tire so clearance not as much of a concern. However, if you are adding shocks then per the manufacturer there is a chance that will not fit or work properly.
While the manufacturer believes 2-3/4 inch clearance is acceptable in your particular situation, we generally recommend there be at least 3 inches of clearance for suspension travel.
