Does the shank of this rack fold up for off-vehicle storage, like the shank of my Thule EasyFold? Thanks

One of the best features of the Thule EasyFold XT # TH903202 is how compact it can become when folded up for storage. I do have a solution for you to safely store the Thule T2 Pro XTR # TH23JV, but unfortunately the shank does not fold up like the EasyFold XT.
To store your bike rack we have the Swagman X Mount Bike Carrier Storage Rack # S80940 which has a 100 lb capacity. You can actually leave your bike rack in the "use" position with your bikes loaded as long as you don't exceed the weight capacity. This is for bike racks that have a 2" shank, but you can store your T2 Pro XTR if you use the Brophy Reducer # HT02 as well.
