Can I install the retractable Tonneau cover over an auxiliary fuel tank?

The RetraxPRO MX Hard Tonneau Cover - Retractable - Aluminum - Matte # RT80233 can absolutely install over an auxiliary fuel tank. You will just need to account for the header of the unit and the height or location of your auxiliary tank or transfer tank.

For instance the DeeZee Truck Bed Auxiliary Tank - 38 Gallon # DZ91752X has a height of 19 inches and with the fuel cap 22-1/2 inches. You would need your bed rails and tonneau cover to not only exceed that height but also allow that height on the underside of the cover for simple compatibility. In that instance you wouldn't want the header to be over the top of the fill cap due to access issues.
