2018 Ram 2500 Diesel Brake Controller Installation

Question:
I’ve read your technical bulletin on how to install an aftermarket brake controller on previous dodge ram trucks so there is compatibility with a electric over hydraulic brake system on a trailer. Does this same technical bulletin apply for 2018 ram 2500 diesel trucks?

Yes. The Integrated Trailer Brake Module (ITBM) will need to be disconnected by your local Ram dealer to allow your 2018 Ram 2500 Diesel to use an aftermarket trailer brake controller.
If you don't have a controller, I recommend the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 # 90195 along with wiring harness # 3024-P. I've attached a video to assist.
