The Replacement Sungear and Subshaft for Bulldog 2-Speed Jack # BD500285 you will need to remove the gearbox cover with its 4 bolts. This will give you access to the planetary gears and this is basically the input part. I reached out to my contact at Bulldog to confirm this.

If you want to replace the entire gearbox, you can use # BD500330.
