Determining the Pin Box of Forest River Cardinal 3825fl Trailer

Question:
Which trail air pin box works with a 3825fl cardinal? The unloaded weight is 14737. The length of unit is 44ft. We get alout of bounce on bridges and some roads. Does anyone take trades? Thank you

Your Forest River Cardinal 3825fl trailer most likely has the Lippert 1621 pin box. You can confirm this by looking at the pin box as there should be a sticker or stamping of a number on the actual pin box. If you cannot find the number you can use the measurements of the bolt holes of the pin box to determine which one you have. I attached an FAQ on how to do this for you to check out also.
If you have the 1621 I believe you have, the Trailair Air Ride 5th Wheel Pin Box - Lippert 1621 - 21,000 lbs # LC158778 is my recommendation. This air ride pin box has a pivoting head with air spring cushion to drastically reduce chucking and almost eliminate bounce and jarring by reducing road shock and controlling the king pin movement.
I am not aware of any companies that take trades.
