I have a 2013 Tacoma access cab with Leer cap. Will PAL9772 really work with the factory handle on my cap? I was just reading the product description on Amazon and it says it will only work with the PL9585 Replacement Handle.

As long as the rotary latch on your Leer topper has a 1-1/8" center opening then the Pop & Lock Power Lock Conversion Kit part # PAL9772 will work well for you. This unit will turn the existing manual handle on your topper into a powered locking handle. The Handle for Pop & Lock Tonneau and Truck Cap Power Lock part # PAL9585 can be used to replace the handle on your topper but is not required.
For the complete kit with both lock and handle you will want to use the Pop & Lock Power Locking Handle part # PAL9555.
