My car has dual exhaust. Will this hitch fit?

I spoke to my contact at Curt Manufacturing and they stated that as long as the dual exhaust you have on your 1984 Pontiac Firebird was installed from the factory, then yes the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C11117 will work for you. However, if it is an aftermarket exhaust I would not be able to confirm fitment as Curt trailer hitches are only designed to be used with factory exhaust.
If you have an aftermarket exhaust you will want to reference the attached photo which will give you a better idea of where the hitch mounts in relation to the muffler.
