Recommended 4-Way Flat Connector that Retains the Function of Factory 7-Way To Power Accessory
Published 12/01/2017 >
Question:
Thank you for the very quick answer, I appreciate it and this is why I always trust eTrailer so much. But unfortunately, for this time, it appears that your answer is incorrect because the factory Mopar 7-ways plug have a rectangle (almost square) connector on the body side of the plug. I attached a JPG of the factory Mopar part that is installed on most FCA vehicles, you’ll see (sorry for the angle) the rectangle connector behind the plug.

Since you already have the factory 7-way, you only need the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness for Factory Tow Package - 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # C55384. This will install right behind your 7-way to give you the 4-way plug you need for your backup camera. This will retain the functionality of your 7-way as well.
