I’m looking into steering stabilizers have looked at blue ox TruCenter. I would really like to know your opinion of the different ones and a brief statement as to why you prefer it.d

For your 42 foot Phaeton motorhome on a 2013 Freightliner chassis, the Roadmaster Reflex Steering Stabilizer with Mounting Brackets for Class A Motor Homes # RM-RBK18-RSSA is a confirmed fit. I've attached a video with this application.

It will work to keep your motorhome straight and will help you maintain control with crosswinds, rut tracking, uneven lanes, and even a tire blowout. A steering stabilizer greatly reduces driver fatigue and increases driving comfort.

For your 2013 Tiffin Phaeton on Freightliner XC Chassis, the TruCenter Steering Stabilizer TC35273 is the correct fit, but the manufacturer has stopped making the system. If you are looking to be on the road a good amount of time, the TruCenter will allow you more options to ensure you have a good driving experience but there will not be prolonged product support. Also there is far more that goes into the installation of that system as you'll have a button added to the dash for this, but it will be a better system simply because it can adjust to your needs at the push of a button. The Roadmaster # RM-RBK18-RSSA is a better option for the cost and the product support, but it will not allow you the adjustability. It utilizes a spring to keep your motorhome centered and it will greatly help with all the same features, but it will not allow you to adjust for extreme winds for example. It will help the same amount for minimum winds and max winds, where the TruCenter will allow you to simply adjust the center point of your system based on the conditions. My recommendation for you is the Roadmaster system.
