Question:
I looking for a wiring harness to put on my 2017 jeep Cherokee Trailhawk so that the tail lights will work off my motor home while dingy towing the jeep. Can you help?

For a wiring harness that will allow your motorhome to activate the taillight on your 2017 Jeep Cherokee, I recommend using the Hopkins Custom Tail Light Wiring Kit for Towed Vehicles part # HM56208. The Hopkins harness is a direct plug and play option that will not require you to cut or splice any wires on your Jeep.
If you have a 6-pole trailer connector on your motorhome which most do, then you will also need the Pollak 6 Pole to 4 Pole Connector Adapter part # PK12717. I have attached an installation video of the above harness installed on a similar 2017 Jeep Cherokee for you as well.
Please note that some models of this vehicle may use Mortorq® fasteners. If your vehicle has these types of fasteners, you will need a PFMTS2E bit to remove them which can be ordered through a Snap-On dealer. If you need any other parts to complete your flat towing setup please let me know and I would be glad to recommend them for you.
