Question:
Blue Ox 7-Wire to 6-Wire, Coiled Electrical Cord. I have the red cord that you use in your video of the sub par cord. Would I need to rewire this blue ox 7:6 cord so lights etc work on jeep tow

Hey Kevin!
The Blue Ox 7-Wire to 6-Wire, Coiled Electrical Cord # BX88206 and the red Roadmaster Coiled Tow Bar Power Cord # RM88BQ both have the same pinout so you can swap them without needing to rewire any plugs on your motorhome or Jeep.
Did your old cord go out on you?

I purchase the BX88206 cable. When I connect the cable to class A and Jeep my patriot braking system is not getting power. Lights ,signals all work fine just not the Patriot. Also Patriot, signals and everything still work with my original cable (red)

yes, the red cord pulled loose on the connections and had to rewire them. Not confident it will last very long.
