Can you tell me the distance from the pin hole to where the larger welded pice starts?

I went out to the warehouse to take a look at the Curt Extender # C45796 referenced in your question. I measured a distance of right at 3-1/8 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole to where the larger 2 inch shank begins. I have included an image with this dimension labeled that you can also check out.
