Tail Light Isolating Diode Kit to Prevent Back-Feeding When Flat Towing

Question:
I have an RV that I want to tow my 2006 Jeep Wrangler behind. I have connected the 5 pin connector inside the vehicle to the turn signals and break wires but there is back feed and both rear lights flash when either turn signal is turned on in the RV. What can I use to fix this?

You can use an isolating diode kit like # 48955 to prevent tail light back-feeding in your flat towing set-up. Each stop and turn circuit (4 in total) will need a diode to allow signals to travel in only one direction, without back-feeding to the RV.
