Can Thule TracRac Ladder Rack Install in Truck Bed with Bed Liner

Question:

I have a 2003 toyota tacoma that has a toyota bedliner and a double wall. Can this be installed with the bedliner and double wall. 2nd question - is the height adjustable I beleive the height is 54 inches but does it go lower. 3rd question - Can the rails be removed when not in use. But just leave the bottom part that is attached to the truck.

The Thule TracRac # TH14750 will mount to your truck with a drop-in bed liner, but for best results, the bed liner should be trimmed away where the ladder rack attaches to the bed floor and the side of the bed so the rack's bolted directly to metal. If the notching the bed floor isn't feasible, and least have the bracket attached to the side wall touching directly to the metal bed side.

Having the bed liner sandwiched in between will cause the ladder rack to loosen over time.
