Question:
I am trying to determine what makes the TGMRTT35D $100 more than the TGMRCK25D and if I need to spend the extra money for my particular need. I will be towing a 5th wheel trailer at about 3000 lbs. hitch weight of my total cargo capacity of about 4300 lbs. with my 2015 LTZ 2500HD, Crew Cab, Z71 Off Road package, Duramax with the Allison tranny. Since I am pushing right up against the limit of the cargo although my tow weight will be almost 3000 lbs. less than the 17300 max and your video shows the before/after with about 1600 lbs. added to the bed, I got lost at trying to figure if I need the 8600 GVW of the 25 model which is closer to my trucks weight or the 8000 GVW of the 35,

Helpful Expert Reply:
Timbren rear-axle jounce spring kit # TGMRTT35D is intended for severe service vehicles such as tow trucks so for your towing/cargo application you will use kit # TGMRCK25D. This no-drill install is suitable for heavy-duty trucks like your 2500 whether or not it has factory top overload springs.
Installation instructions and a video are linked for your reference.
