Recommended Plug to add Lights to Trailer Tailgate
Published 11/03/2017 >
Question:
Hi, I plan to add extra lights to my trailer. Currently there are a set mounted but I find that they hard to see as they are mounted low down on the sides of the trailer. I was thinking of extending the trailer wires by adding a plug, connector and wiring to the tailgate of the trailer which is removable. I would put the tailgate on the trailer, then plug in the extra lights to the existing wiring. What plugs would you recommend I purchase to complete this task? thanks

In order to add lights on your trailer's tailgate that will allow you to remove it, you can use 2 Wire Loop # 9651P. What you would want to do is cut it in half and use one side for your tailgate and one side for your trailer. I've added a link to a video review for you to take a look at as well.
