Replacement Switch for Dome Light in Camper

Question:

I need a light switch for my double dome light in my camper....part number 212481....its about 3/4 inch long and 1/2 inch wide. do you have one??

I do have a solution for you, however based on my research, it appears that the exact switch part number 212481 referenced in your question is no longer available from the manufacturer.

We do have some replacement switches available that should work with the existing dome light in your camper. I recommend looking at the Derale Lighted On/Off Switch # D16740, which looks very similar to the switch you are needing to replace. This is a 3-Pole, 12 Volt switch that can be used to power your double dome light.

That switch won’t fit the mount. I suggest the OP just jumper the switch converting the fixture to remote switching, as the fixture is typically in a set, ceiling ow wall mounted, and all wired through a master wall switch. That’s what I just did.
