Question:
Is there a Class 2 trailer hitch for a 2007 Toyota Corolla with the 2-inch opening on the on the hitch
asked by: Pete
Expert Reply:
Each hitch that is available for a 2007 Toyota Corolla is a Class I hitch with a 1-1/4" receiver such as the Draw-Tite # 24913. According to the '07 Corolla's owners manual, the towing capacity of the vehicle is 1,500 lbs, which is why there are no Class II hitches available. The Class I Draw-Tite has a 2,000 lbs towing capacity and 200 lbs tongue weight capacity, and if you were looking to tow, you would need to add a 4-flat connector # 55542 as well as drawbar # 3593, which comes with a hitch pin and clip.
