Question:

I want a platform bike rack that will accommodate my 29er that has an overall length of 69 inches from front tire to back tire. Will your economy rack fit?

I have a solution for you, however the Swagman XC, part # S64650 will not fit a bike with a 69 inch wheelbase. Wheelbase is normally measured from the point where the front and rear wheel touch the ground. If the 69 inch measurement is from the front of the front tire to the back of the rear tire, then the wheelbase will be less and the XC will likely fit. Measure between where the tires actually touch the ground. If this is less than 51-1/2 inches the XC will fit your bike.

If the base really is 69 inches, then you'll want the Swagman XC Extended, part # S64650-EXT. This bike rack will carry the bike with a frame-mount system.
