Question:

I'm not sure that will fit my 3500 the top leaf on the gmc hd 3500 is flipped the other way, not sure how this would fit on

The Roadmaster Active Suspension Kit part # RAS3611 would be a great suspension enhancement setup for your 2016 GMC Sierra 3500. You would not need air bags on top of these. Since these will give you the additional support you need the air bags would be redundant.

In your opinion would this work better than conventional air bags? Which is better for wind sway being a srw truck and heavy load. THANKS

Yes, the RAS systems will work better than air bags. Air bags do provide support but it's often pretty harsh feeling when they are aired up. The RAS is not quite as harsh feeling and helps much more with sway too.

Sounds like you have overload springs on your truck which means you need the part # RAS3611-HD instead.
