How to Improve Gas Mileage 2009 Dodge Ram 4.7L V8

Question:

I have a Dodge Ram 1500 4.7L with 35inch tires and a 4inch lift, everything is stock under the hood. Before of course i was getting great gas mileage! Now of course not so much. But I was planning on getting a Bully Dog system. Will this help me get better gas mileage in the long run?

I do have a performance tuner that will help increase the gas mileage on your 2009 Dodge Ram but we currently do not have a Bully Dog tuner for you. Instead, I recommend using the Superchips Flashpaq F5 part # SU3845.

The Flashpaq F5 has a preloaded "economy" tune that will work to boost fuel economy. The exact MPG increase you will see from the tuner varies from vehicle to vehicle but some customers have reported an increase of up to 5 MPG's.

In addition to fuel economy, the Flashpaq also has several other features that will work to increase both horsepower and torque.
