safe for my 98 ram1500 5.2l? i want to make sure that a programmer is going to work and not destroy my vehicle in the long run Im trying to get gas economy and as much performance as possible

As long as your drive your truck as it should be driven, using the programmer will not cause any damage to your vehicle.
