Can the Fulton Fold-Away Coupler Hinge Kit Still be Installed Inversely

I Inadvertently put the male and female couplers on the wrong sides on trailer tongue. Will this cause a problem? Thanks

I spoke with my contact at Fulton and as long as the part that swings away when using the Fulton Fold-Away Coupler Hinge Kit # FHDPB350101 is not very long (which is doesn't appear to be) you will be just fine. If it were fairly long then you could see some deflection (or warping) in the long run.
