Weight Distribution Shank Recommendation for 2-1/2 inch Ford Truck Hitch and Reese WD System

Question:
I have a Reese weight distributing hitch that currently has a shank part # 63970 2. I recently purchased a 2017 F250 that comes standard with a 2-1/2inch hitch. Is there a new shank that I can get that will fit the new 2-1/2inch hitch and still work with my existing weight distributing head and torsion bars? Also, the new truck hitch sits higher than the old truck, so I need at least a 4inch . Please email me back. I can send a phone # if we need to speak. Thank you.

We have just what you need. For a 2-1/2 inch hitch shank that will fit your truck and Reese weight distribution system the part # EQ90-02-4900 will work great as it will give you the additional drop you'd need as well.
