Question:
I am going to install lighting in a 24foot box trailer used to haul our high school band instruments and uniforms. It currently has one small light inside the walk through door. Heres what I need. The lights will only be used while hooked up to the tow vehicle. I need overhead lights that are bright enough to light up the entire interior of the trailer. I need some kind of strip lights maybe on the outside of the trailer on both sides for the students to see putting on uniforms. Both need a switch inside the door.

We've got the lighting items you need for your high school band's instrument trailer.
I strongly recommend you opt for LED-type lights, rather than standard incandescent bulb lights. There are several advantages to using LED lights.
LEDs use only about 1/10th the power required by incandescent lights. Their efficiency also means less waste heat, which can matter a lot in warm weather when the sun has already heated up the trailer interior. They also do not change color with age the way that incandescent bulbs do; often standard bulbs tend to go toward the yellow side of the spectrum while LEDs will retain their initial light color much longer. LEDs also tend to last a very long time, meaning that you do not find you have a bad bulb that needs replacement at exactly the worst possible time. Since they are so energy-efficient you can use much lighter-gauge (lower cost) wiring to install them, such as 18-gauge.
Our LED trailer interior lights are available in several configurations, stand-alone lights with built-in switches like # RVILL34 and # RVILL33 and even lights with dimmers. We also have strip-type lights such as # ILL70CB and # ILL71CB For the easiest interior lights I do suggest using lights with built-in switches. You can see these and other interior LED lights on the link provided.
For exterior strip lights I suggest the waterproof Optronics LED Utility Light Bar # BUL69CB which has 11 diodes in a 15-inch-long housing.
