How Much Capacity Does The Derale Series 8000 Plate-Fin Transmission Cooler Add To A System

Question:
I have a 2015 Dodge Caravan. These transmissions are real critical of the amount of fluid and I need to know how much fluid this cooler holds. Their is no dipstick to check unless this is taken to the dealership.

I called my contact at Derale and they informed me that the Derale Series 8000 Plate-Fin Transmission Cooler Kit w/Barb Inlets part # D13503 will increase the capacity of your 2015 Dodge Grand Caravan transmission by about 6 oz. Therefore, you will need to add an additional 6 oz. of transmission fluid to your vehicle's transmission in order to account for the capacity added by the transmission cooler.
In addition to added capacity, this cooler is a great option for you vehicle with dimension of 11" wide x 8-3/4" tall x 7/8" deep. It comes with everything needed for installation. I have attached an installation video of this cooler on a similar 2013 Dodge Grand Caravan for you.
