The Kenda Karrier ST235/80R16 Radial Trailer Tire - Load Range E # AM10248 has a load rating of 3,500 lbs at 90 psi but a speed rating of up to 65 mph.

The Westlake ST235/80R16 Radial Trailer Tire - Load Range E # LHWL401 has a load rating of 3,520 lbs at 80 psi and has a speed rating of up to 75 mph. Are they making higher than an E rated tire in a ST235/80R16 now?

Yes. We have many load range G rated tires in the ST235/80R16 size. This is a 14 ply rating over the 10 ply rating of the load range E so it will have a thicker sidewall. Thank you for the tire information. How do I tell if my wheels are rated for 110psi? Ive heard the wheel pressure rating is stamped on the inside of the wheel requiring you to remove the tire from the wheel to find it? Thanks

The valve stem is the giveaway unless you know what exact wheels you have on your trailer. Almost all wheels that are 15 inches or larger are rated for that capacity. The valve stem rated for over 100 lbs we carry is the Americana Metal, Bolt-In Valve Stem - 1-1/4" Long # AM20906. This is the only metal valve stem with others being the rubber snap in style. You want to run your trailer tires at their max psi as written on the sidewall of the tire at all times.
