How to Convert a Curt Q20 5th Wheel Hitch to Work w/ the Ford Factory Puck System

Question:

I have a Curt Q20 that I have used for years that attaches to 5th wheel rails. Is there a way to use this with the Ford puck system?

Yes, there is. To use a Curt Q20 item # C16130 in the Ford factory puck system you will need the Curt OEM 5th-Wheel Hitch Legs item # C16017. These legs will replace the ones your currently have and allow you to install your Q20 hitch in the Ford factory puck system.

Doing this will essentially give you the Curt Q20 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch with Ford OEM Legs item # C16530-16017.

@Tom It sure can! To convert a Curt Q20 5th Wheel Hitch item # C16130 to work with the Ram factory puck system you'll need the Curt OEM 5th Wheel Hitch Legs for Ram Towing Prep Package item # C16021. Does your 2024 Ram 3500 have the factory puck system?
