What Direction Should the Caliper Mounting Bracket Face on Kodiak Disc Brake Assembly, # K1HR35D

Question:

Does the caliper bracket mount with the tabs to the outside or the inside ? It seems to fit either way but with the tabs to the inside the tab fits nicely around the caliper. With the tab to the outside they seems to have no function. On your Youtube video you mount the tabs to the outside but is that correct?

On the Kodiak Disc Brake Assembly, # K1HR35D, the caliper mounting bracket, far left in the picture, needs to be mounted with the tabs pointing out like in the video you have mentioned that I have also linked here for reference. The tabs will help to keep the caliper in place so that it cannot rotate forward or backward.
