Hi, everyone. Steven here with etrailer. Let's take a look at this Lippert Super Lube dust cap and rubber plug set. Folks, you're gonna get quantity two. This is gonna be your 1.99 inch diameter, and that's gonna be about a 2200 pound to 4,400 pound axle size. This is your dust cap, and of course, that Easy Lube plug there on the end.
And this will help, as you know, protect your bearings. It keeps the grease and everything in there. The other inner hub components, dust and contaminants, can't get in there. And all this helps hold everything inside of that hub assembly. It's gonna be a snug, secure fit design, as you know, if you've ever changed these out, they are pretty tight, so.
We also carry separately a bare, or a, excuse me, dust cap removal tool and a dust cap installation tool. You can find them over at etrailer as well. If you don't have them, I recommend picking them up. Save you some time and frustrations when you're doing your maintenance. And these again are basic 1.99 size, metal construction with the rubber plugs, that way again, if you have that Easy Lube spindle, you can easily pull this plug off, leave the cap on, and then do your maintenance visually.
And then if you need to add grease, you can add grease, all from the comfort of the outside of the hub. Folks, that's gonna wrap up our look together. I'm Steven. Thanks for watching.

Perfect fit. Saved driving 100 miles to dealer for the same part .
One of the dust caps was not completely oval, so it bent out of shape while tapping it in the axel. Luckily the second dust cover was perfect and tapped right in!
Fits perfectly
After trying a couple of other dust caps purchased on Amazon, I thought that this etrailer set might fit my 2009 Rockwood HW279 popup camper's hubs better than the others. Somehow, my hubs seem to be just slightly larger than the 1.99" sets I am finding through these suppliers. Alas, these here are slightly too small to fit my camper, thus, will not work for me. Pretty frustrating.

lost both dust covers in a 30 mile trip ,and I've had trailers for over 50 yr and do all the maintenance on them my self , unreal to loose 1 but both of them cheap china crap!
