Hi, everyone. Steve here with etrailer. Today we're taking a quick look together at these Lippert Super Lube Dust Cap and Rubber Plug Set. Folks, these are going to fit a 2.72 inch diameter hub, and that's generally a 7,000 to 8,000 pound axle. And this dust cap kit, you're going to get two of the dust caps, and then obviously two of the rubber plugs that go in there. I just put the one in here so you can see what they look like assembled if you don't already know.
And then obviously you can pop that out, reach the grease zerk on your super lube spindle, and then you can easily do the maintenance needed. And then obviously, once you get everything greased up, this dust cap will help protect the bearings, the grease, and other inner hub components from dust, water, et cetera. And again, this is a zinc plated steel construction, so it's corrosion resistant. And again, folks, these work with a 2.72 inch diameter design, and these are a simple drive-in installation.
